OMG 1 hour I was in there..............1 whole hour!
Thanks Stella for all your suggestions - I thought about it whilst I was driving in and do you know the worst question they asked me was "what would you change about yourself" and the only thing that sprang to mind was "I'd like to be less of a drama queen" the words popped out and I was mortified!
They thought it was funny but I was dying inside.
The job is fairly new so I would be taught how to do everything by a man with the same name as K which threw me a little at first.
Goodness knows if I'll get the job but at least I tried!
This is a very shortened account of the dreaded interview but I am shattered - I woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep.
They said they would ring me if I was going to be offered it - I very much doubt it but it was worth going just for the experience!

Well done katie, I've got my fingers crossed for you. Can't believe you were in there an hour! The drama queen thing is very funny - but I think they will have seen the funny side. After all they will have had so many 'fake' answers to that question, like "I'd like to change the fact I'm such a perfectionist" that with any luck they will have thought you were refreshingly honest!
Of course I hope you get it, but even if not i hope it gives you a bit of a confidence boost and a realisation that clearly there are people out there who think you're capable, AND also you should be proud of yourself for turning up and making it through a whole hour! You've sounded down recently so I hope this whole experience has given you a bit of a boost. keep on firing off your CV and sooner or later someone will snap you up. xx
